Attack on Pearl Harbour

Pearl harbour the US naval base was attacked 7.december, two days ago. The government says that is the imperial Japanese navy is behind the surprise attacked. They base this accusation on the swarm of Japanese fighters, bombers and torpedo planes, which flew over the base at 7:55 a.m. The people and the government are in shock and declaring war on the empire of Japan.

Where and Why?

At around 7:55 a.m. Japanese fighters and bombers plane appeared out of clouds carrying the Rising Sun of Japan, and a swarm of warplanes followed. This surprise attack left the people in shock and many lives, boat and aircraft were lost. But this was not the end of the attack, sometime after the second wave with war planes appeared from the north, but anti-aircraft canons went up and shoot down most of the planes. Soldatiors said that they came in two waves. The first wave primary target was battleships and aircraft carries, these planes looked look fighters and torpedo planes. The second wave had a primary objective of destroying cruisers and oil storages.

What is the Government doing?

The government is in shock, especially because there were no warning or declaration of war. Word is that the U.S. was in the process of negotiating peace with Empire of Japan.

Monday morning, the president held a speech. ‘’ Yesterday, December 7, 1941- a date which will live in infamy- the United states of America was suddenly and deliberately attacked by naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan’’ After a strong and forceful speech, he and the congress declared war on the empire of Japan. The congress agreed to send supply their allies with tanks, aircraft and soldatiors.

Everyone is in Shock

Monday afternoon, the fires were extinguished. But battleship, carries and aircrafts were still in ruins. People around were devastated and still in shock. Soldiers marched around and the nurseries filled up with sore civilians and soldiers. We asked predestines on the streets about the attack. Many were in tears and did not want to answer ours question, but others had forceful messages to Japan. ‘’ Japan has now awoken the sleeping giant’’. For me it was a normal December day, it was cloudy and there were dark clouds. I was on my way to work and before I step out of the car I hear this mysteries sound like planes. At first I thought it was the Naval base training, but suddenly the ground started to shake and I saw soldatiors command there battle station and then the sirens sound, seconds after an explosion accrued. The police guide people way from the base. I ran up to my office and managed to get some pictures.

Takeo Yoshikawa

Takeo Yoshikawa has been accused of begin a Japanese spy. He had found at a second story apartment with a view of pearl harbour. This is not a coincidence, there were note books and posters with security routines, fleet movement and there were also diving gear. Takeo Yoshikawa was not working alone because there sign of two people. He is nowhere to be found, the attourties believe he has flied back to Japan.

What will happen in the future?

The U.S is gearing up for war. Young men are sign up for duty and the army is scrapping up every little weaponry they have. U.S is not only country who have declared war, Italy and Germany has sided with Japan. I think this is the war to end all wars.
